50% flu shot, V-Day and Taytum is 6 mo.!!

Starting on about the night of the10th Tyson and Taytum started waking up with fevers. By the second day Tyson was in pretty bad shape with the shakes and rapid breathing pretty much all day long. So that day (12th) I took him into the doc. I told them all his symptoms and they asked if he has had a flu shot. He did have a flu shot (the nasal spray). They swabbed him and came back to tell me he had type "B" flu...apparently the flu vaccine this year was geared more for type "A". I am glad he got the vaccine because it could have been worse...my mom had both type "A" and "B" for Christmas last year. NOT GOOD. So the next few nights were spent up giving them baths to cool down. No, not at the same time. They worked in shifts. Anyway, I wonder how long it will take them to figure out a shot for both types? Well these were the pics I took the day before it all started. I think little boys like dressing up in stuff as much as girls. It's always either the construction stuff, batman or optimus prime. Even to the movies :)

I think the construction stuff is his fave because it has an actual hammer, measuring tape, chalk line etc...

Valentine's morning...they are really good sports. They were both in pretty good moods despite how crappy they were feeling.

Valentine's Day was the first in 3 days that I got them out of their jammies. Rotating Tylenol and ibuprofen every 4 hours with lots of sleep seems to help a lot!! It also helps that he LOVES making treats! No pics of the finished product because we didn't make it past the baking.

Taytum is in the phase where she wants whatever I have. So I pretend to drink from her cup and she flips to have it. It works till she sees me drink from my cup and she throws hers down. So I just pick hers back up and pretend to drink from it again and the cycle continues! She did pretty good just to sit there and watch us make treats :)

Taytum went in for her 6 month check-up on the 16th.

Weight: 16.7 lbs (50%)

Height: 27 1/4" (95%)

At Tyson's 6 mo. he weighed 20 lbs. and was 27 1/2"!! Wow...they obviously get their height from their Daddy!!

??? Oh well...

She LOVES LOVES biter biscuits! She starts shaking and reaching for me when she sees me opening one...it cracks me up!

That is so cute that Taytum already wants to be just like her mom! Tyson is super cute too in his construction get-up!

P.S. I am having a baby shower up that way and would love to get your address so I can get you an invite :)
