Did I say Charlotte?! I meant to say Taytum!!!

Well, to make a long story longer...If Tyson ended up being a girl his name would have been Taytum. When I got preggo again and we were having a girl we tossed the name Taytum around. The only problem was the "Taytum" I pictured looked more like me when I was born (little and bald) and not like my first baby (big and tonz of dark hair). I thought for sure she would have the same dark thick hair Tyson had and the name Taytum or Paisly totally fit the image I had of her in my head. The name Charlotte won and I had it embroidered on a blanket my mom made for her. When she came out she was bald!! The first thing I said when I saw her was "She doesn't have any hair!" I was totally baffled, she looked nothing like the Charlotte I had pictured. My mom and sister thought the same thing...she didn't look like a Charlotte and we have all had a hard time calling her that. We just called her "baby girl" or "love bug". Two nights ago I was struggling with why we were going to name her Charlotte. Because her name was embroidered on a blanket? I was going to call her something I felt didn't fit for the rest of her life because of a blanket?! I told Trev and he agreed 100%. So today when she was blessed, the name she was given was...Taytum BreAnna!! It was kinda funny because we really didn't tell very many people so BreAnna and most of our family found out when she was being blessed!

I'll have pics posted later :)

Tag Im it!!

Ok so i've Been Tagged By Bree! The Rules are.. Link the Person who Tagged you, Mention rules on your blog, So Tell about 6 quirks of yours & then Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same, be sure to leave a comment to let them know.

I'm tagging Tawny, Amee, Auty, Kat, Christy and Meg

1. When I tell a story...I TELL a story. I make it really long and detailed. I don't mean to I just really want you to experience it like I did. My mom usually says, "Tiff, we know the sky was blue and the grass was green but we really don't care how many drops of dew were on the flowers...get to the point!"

2. Unlike my sister...I HATE HAIRY LEGS!!! If I shower at night and shave my legs, I will most definitely shower and shave again in the morning because they are not smooth. I will occasionally (a lot when I was preggo) wake up in the middle of the night and shave...I don't know how my sister sleeps at night!!

3. I get online at baby gap, naartjie and gymboree and add items to "my bag" at least 3x's a week. I don't buy my items until they are all on sale and my total is under $50, even then I don't purchase online because I won't pay shipping...which leads me to quirk #4

4. I LOVE ,LOVE..... SHOPPING!!! (Why would I buy something online when I can take the whole experience in at the Mall?!) I know Psychologists frown on this but it literally makes me happy. Trev says he doesn't mind cause I'm not very often sad, but when I am he just sends me to the mall while he stays home with the kiddos...it's an easy fix!

5. I have an elliptical in my front room, when I am on it I have to have my iPod blaring...I sing and dance along to my fave songs. I do this especially when Trev is home and he is watching a show he is really into. I do this to make him laugh. I don't just constantly sing along to every song, I have sporadic outbursts (about every 10 mins.) He is becoming more and more immune to my antics ( he tries really hard not to laugh) so I have to get more animated to get a reaction. I only stop after I have him laughing hysterically...I won't admit I almost fell off 2 days ago.

6. I love the smell of Hugo energize, I gave it to Trev for Christmas. You know when you buy smelly from Dillards they give you a bunch of freebies? Well one of them was Gucci and he had to have it...Happy Valentine's Day. Guess who wears Hugo now? My Bubs Tyson. Whether or not we are leaving the house. He thinks its part of his morning ritual like brushing teeth...I guess I started him a little young but at least he will always smell yummy!

Well I'm not sure all those are "quirks" but my day/week just wouldn't feel right without them!

Tyson has a new baby sister...meet Charlotte BreAnna!!

Yay!! I finally had my baby girl on Aug. 14th!!!

I have to say the whole experience with this delivery was way better than the first. I had Tyson at Mckay-Dee and had the worst experience ever. I had to be put to sleep because the epidural didn't take all the way (he was c-section too) so I never got to hear him cry. When it was over they wheeled me to my room where within minutes I could feel and move my legs...which also meant I could feel where they gut me like a fish. I was in the worst pain I had ever been in. I tried not to breath, scream or cry. I was shaking violently and the nurses wouldn't give me any pain meds because that was the epidural's job and I was just being a baby. Luckily my father-in-law is a nurse and rolled me over to see the epidural was leaking all over my back...there goes my pain killer. He told the nurse who said she would call in some pain meds. To make a long story short they weren't in a hurry to help me out until my father-in-law yelled at my nurse, ordered her to get the drugs herself and made her cry. At Ogden Regional I got a spinal block (I really didn't even feel it) and the nurses made sure to give me pain meds as soon as I started feeling the slightest bit uncomfortable! So if any of you out there are going to have a baby and have a choice between Ogden Regional and Mckay-Dee...do yourself a favor and choose Ogden Regional. Did I mention the rooms are 3x's bigger and you get to order your food from a menu so you get to eat what you want when you want!
