Yay!! I finally had my baby girl on Aug. 14th!!!

I have to say the whole experience with this delivery was way better than the first. I had Tyson at Mckay-Dee and had the worst experience ever. I had to be put to sleep because the epidural didn't take all the way (he was c-section too) so I never got to hear him cry. When it was over they wheeled me to my room where within minutes I could feel and move my legs...which also meant I could feel where they gut me like a fish. I was in the worst pain I had ever been in. I tried not to breath, scream or cry. I was shaking violently and the nurses wouldn't give me any pain meds because that was the epidural's job and I was just being a baby. Luckily my father-in-law is a nurse and rolled me over to see the epidural was leaking all over my back...there goes my pain killer. He told the nurse who said she would call in some pain meds. To make a long story short they weren't in a hurry to help me out until my father-in-law yelled at my nurse, ordered her to get the drugs herself and made her cry. At Ogden Regional I got a spinal block (I really didn't even feel it) and the nurses made sure to give me pain meds as soon as I started feeling the slightest bit uncomfortable! So if any of you out there are going to have a baby and have a choice between Ogden Regional and Mckay-Dee...do yourself a favor and choose Ogden Regional. Did I mention the rooms are 3x's bigger and you get to order your food from a menu so you get to eat what you want when you want!

Wow, I had no idea you had that much trouble when you had Tyson. That sounds horrible!! Thank heavens for your father in law.

Hello Tiffany! I found you out here in the blogging world. This is Kara, used to be Johnson. From WAY back when, and then some. I just have to say that you're a trooper. Your first birth experience sounded way too familiar.....mine was pretty much the same as yours. I LOATHE Logan regional hospital, and I tell everyone that. I am so glad the second was excellent, and of course, CONGRATS on the new addition. :)
