Dinos and Iraq

Hi Trev! (if you are able to look)
So we (my mother and I) took Tyson to see Walking with Dinosaurs on the night of the 15th, earlier that morning... 2:30 a.m., I dropped Trev off at Hill because he was going to Iraq. I can't find my cable to upload those pics so those will be for my next post. Don't keep your fingers crossed. Yikes, what a day!! I dreaded saying goodby. Luckily my mom, dad and mom-in-law went with me and bree stayed with the kids at my house. We got home around 4 and everyone left just before 5 a.m. At that time as I was walking to my room I hear my poor boy calling out for me. I put him in bed with me and just as I'm wrapping up in the covers Taytum decides she needs a little attention too (which she hasn't done since she was 2 months old) I finally get her to sleep, it honestly only took about 10 mins. but felt like hours. I maybe got 2 hours of sleep before Taytum woke up again at her normal 8 a.m. I have to say I am glad I had something to look forward to that night. Tyson is a die hard dino dude! He has been watching clips from walking with dinos on youtube since he found out we got him tickets! He can even name 10 of them, which I won't try and spell. Unfortunatly he has kind of figured out how to use my camera and erased all the good pics and videos :( Oh well no use crying over spilt milk. I should have uploaded everything on the computer as soon as we got home. Anyway, he was so funny. As soon as he woke up I told him it was the day for the show, he got a huge grin and told me he was "so excited!" He even layed awake for an hour at nap time wanting to know if it was time to go. I told him he didn't have to take a nap but I needed to finish getting ready and he looked at me and said "get your clothes on...I think we're gonna be late!" We got there half an hour early and the moment we walked through the doors he put his hands over his ears and didn't remove them till the end. Not even for candy or popcorn. People looked at us like we were cruel...if they only knew how excited he was to be there! We ended up being second row from the front and it was awsome!! I wish we had the pics where they were right in front of us. Anyway, Trev should be home by March 27. I know husbands have left for longer but it still sucks the big one. I miss him the most at night when I have to go to bed alone and Tyson asks if Dad will come home tonight. It was really sad for me yesterday when we came home from my mom's and he gets really excited as we pull up and he sees Trevs truck and shouts, "I think dad's home!" I know people have sacraficed more and he is in the "safest place" you can be over there. Well thats all for now Tyson just got up and wants me to go to bed.

My husband was deployed to Qatar last year. I know what you are going through right now. I didn't have 2 babies though, so you are my hero. :) When does he get to come back? I'll thinking about you guys over the next few months.

I'm a doofus. There it is in your post: March 27th. It doesn't matter how long they're gone for, they're still gone. Whether it's weeks or months. I'll be thinking about you for the next few weeks then. :)
